Dictaphone C-Phones

There are many exciting pieces of technology in the world today. Voice and text processing products have completely changed the way that people send messages and communicate with one another. This technology has been in development for many years. However, it has now reached a point where all of the glitches have been fixed. You will notice quite a few companies are involved in making and selling devices that utilize this type of technology. You should be aware that not all of these devices are the same. In fact, the quality of many of these products is sorely lacking. This is why you really need to be careful when you are doing your shopping. Here is how to choose voice and text processing products.

1. A proven manufacturer

It is always best to stay away from products that are made by companies you never heard of before. You want the voice and text processing products that you buy to be produced by a company that has a proven track record of excellence in the industry. You are paying good money for these products. Therefore, you need to know that you are getting the most value for your financial investment. Dictaphone C-Phones are currently very popular in a wide variety of industries.

2. Accuracy

For obvious reasons, accuracy should be your biggest concern when you are buying devices for the purpose of transcription and dictation. Words that are not properly transcribed could cause huge problems in term papers, business agreements and many other very important tasks that you might be using this equipment for. Therefore, you need to do some research and find out the devices that are known to have the highest level of accuracy when it comes to transcribing the words that have been dictated.

3. Easy to use

Some voice and text processing devices are much easier to learn how to use than others. You want to find products that will not require you to give your employees classes on how to use them. Ideally, you should buy devices for your office that will allow your employees to hit the ground running without any lengthy lessons. It would be in your best interests to thoroughly test out any voice and text processing devices before you commit to buying them for your business. This will allow you to avoid any issues down the road that would require you to exchange them for a different model.

Blending Technology: The 3 Main Types of Blenders

Blending Technology: The 3 Main Types of Blenders

Apr 8, 2016

As with just about everything else, mixing equipment has come a long way from its meager beginnings. In fact, the blender is available in a wide array of options, sizes and uses. However, mixing equipment can generally be divided into three main types; blenders, agitators and heavy-duty mixers.

Blenders – Mixing Equipment for Solid, Solid Blending
For blender technology, there is a wide array of bulk solid blending equipment for both consumer and industrial operation. Blenders are separated into three classifications, depending on their mixing mechanism:

• Convection Blenders: Paddle Blender, Ribbon Blender, Vertical Screw Blender
• Tumblr Blenders: V-Blenders, Double Cone Blender, Octagonal Blender
• Fluidization Mixers/Blenders: Double Paddle Mixer, Plow Mixer

Agitators – Mixing Equipment for Liquid, Liquid Gas Mixing
Agitators are pieces of mixing equipment that feature rotating impellers. This gives the mixer the ability to blend miscible liquids, dispersing or contacting immiscible liquids, transferring heat in agitated liquid, dispersing gas to a liquid, as well as various other functions. The impellers of agitators are either radial or axial, which is determined by the angle of the impeller blade to the impeller rotation.

• Radial Impellers: An agitator with a radial impeller means the blade of the impeller is parallel to the impeller’s axis. Because of this, the impeller will discharge the flow along the radius in a very distinct pattern. Examples of radial impeller agitators are Paddle, Flat Blade Turbine and Anchor.
• Axial Impellers: This type of agitator has an impeller blade that makes less than a 90-degree angle with the impeller rotation. This causes the flow to run along the impeller axis, parallel to the shaft of the impeller. Examples of axial impellers include Pitched Blade Turbine and Marine Propellers.

Heavy-Duty Mixers – Mixers for Pasty, Vicious Materials
The other two categories of mixing equipment uses a mixing regime where turbulence dominates, such as liquid agitators. When you need to mix high viscosity materials, however, you need a piece of mixing equipment where viscous drag forces dominate. Because of this, mixing materials that have a non-Newtonian behavior will require the use of a heavy-duty mixer, such as:

• Planetary Mixers
• Double Arm Mixers
• Triple and Dual Shaft Mixers

Operating heavy-duty mixers can be done in one continuous job or in batches. This will depend on several factors, including the quality of the product, capacity of production, type of heavy-duty mixer and the before and after equipment used.
